The Xavier College Archives is the repository for a unique collection of items that document the history of Xavier, from the founding of the College by the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits), through to today.
The key objective of the Xavier Archives is to acquire, catalogue and preserve a collection of archival and heritage material, created by or relating to Xavier College.
Items include papers of the Rectors and Principals, Council and Executive minutes of meetings, student records, administrative documents, photographs, concert programs, uniforms, trophies, recorded media and other artefacts.
By creating displays of archival material, writing articles and involvement with current and past students, we are able to highlight the stories of those who attended Xavier and honour our history and the men and women who lived it.
We welcome gifts of items that relate to people who have attended Xavier, or to Xavier’s history as an educational institution.
Research facilities are available for those who wish to consult our records.

The Xavier College Archives are located at the Senior Campus, in the refurbished cellars at the east end of the South Wing. Open Monday to Friday 8:30am – 4:00pm.
