Our Junior School (P-6) program is now set at the magnificent Burke Hall Campus. Operating from the beginning of the 2024 school year, it has maintained an aligned and progressive curriculum journey for Prep to Year 2 (Stage 1 housed in its contemporary St Louis Building), through Years 3 and 4 (Stage 2) and into Years 5-6 (Stage 3) that also acts as a significant point of entry for many students and families.
Learning is not linear for any individual and success can emerge at different times and present itself in many forms. Therefore, we have created a curriculum that reflects our Jesuit context. A key component of a Jesuit education focuses on the development of the whole child, and our learning experiences are crafted in a manner that allows each student to find their golden vein, their passion, helping them to flourish in their unique way.
When our students engage deeply in these experiences they develop a deep understanding of self. In a time when personal wellbeing is critical, we are deliberate in these formative years to help our students understand their personal strengths whilst celebrating the strengths of their peers.
Our Jesuit context supports students in developing a sense of service to others. Being citizens who care for those in need is integral to life at the College and this journey begins when each boy enters the College. Our holistic approach to the development of each student is highlighted through our focus on the ‘head, heart and hands’ where our mind, emotions and spirit impact our actions.
