It's great to see the form of the buildings starting to take shape as the structure starts to pop out of the ground.
The carpark structure is now completely piled and capped, with IBC now starting to excavate down exposing the perimeter walls and shotcreteing progressing. The lower ground floor of the Yr 7&8 building has been excavated as has the eastern most retaining wall.
Large volumes of soil continue to be removed from site with over 15,000 m3 removed in recent weeks. We have on average 20 truck and trailers on site each day. Each truck is transporting 4 loads from site. Each truck carries 22 cubic meters. This will continue at pace now, subject to weather.
Behind the scenes fabrication of the timber structure has commenced given the long lead times to site.
